Internet Explorer Settings for SalesLogix (For use with Windows Authentication)

It is important that the SalesLogix website is added to the Trusted Sites in Internet Explorer. Note that your I.T. department may have already performed these steps.

  1. Please click on Tools > Internet Options > Security tab.
  2. Click on Trusted Sites.
  3. Click on the Sites button.
  4. In the box that says Add this website to the zone enter the URL of your SalesLogix website.
  5. Make sure the Require server verification (https: for all sites in this zone) checkbox is UNCHECKED.
  6. Click the Add button, then click Close and then click OK.

To enable automatic logins for Windows Authentication:

To change the setting in Internet Explorer:

  1. On the menu bar, click on Tools > Internet Options > Security tab.
  2. Click on Trusted Sites and then click on the Custom level… button.
  3. On the window that      pops up if you scroll to the bottom of the list, you need to ensure that Automatic logon with current user name and password is selected.
  4. Click OK and OK again.
  5. Close Internet Explorer and launch it again, and then open the SalesLogix website.

If you are using Internet Explorer v9 or higher, please make sure Compatibility Mode is enabled. To do this, click on the broken page icon in the address bar. When compatibility mode is enabled, the icon should be blue.
